Dress Code

We can not thank enough all of the riders from our past events who have gone to so much trouble to "dress with style". From the tens of thousands of photographs that have been taken, the pages of printed newspapers and the miles of footage on video it is clear that Velo Vintage Riders attract attention and rightly so!

All that we ask, is that riders dress in the period from about the 1920's to the 1950's. It doesn't have to be original, far from it. Many of our tweed jackets are not that old, yet the style has changed little.

Now if a little help from the professionals is needed, then we would suggest popping in to see Jazz and Donna (the two young ladies in the photograph on the right). They own and run the fabulous Donna Flower Vintage. Just click their logo below for a swift way to their website.

We love the Retro look and how it turns back the clock to those heroes of the past. Mr Brodie seen here on the right is even riding a single speed! Chapeau Sir!

So to guide you, take a look at a few photographs from some of our past rides and let the images do the talking for you.

We would add, that above all enjoy dressing up, it truly does make the day!
